Welcome to Upper Carnegie Hill

Carnegie Hill is a neighborhood within the Upper East Side with a wide variety of architectural styles ranging from Civil War-era and 19th-century rowhouses to early 20th-century elegant mansions and pre-war apartment buildings. The neighborhood was named after Andrew Carnegie's Mansion located on Fifth Avenue. As part of the "Museum Mile", Carnegie Hill is home to many of the city's leading museums. The tree-lined streets and close proximity to Central Park make Carnegie Hill one of the most sought after and prominent residential areas in Manhattan.
